Currently, Midi only allows transfers to accounts in your name at other banks in the countries permitted based on your country of registration. More countries will be added to the list soon, and transfers to your family and friends' accounts will be enabled.
1. Tap “Send” on the app’s home screen (you’ll find the button on your bank account card or in the center button of the app’s home menu at the bottom of the screen)
2. Allow access to your contacts if you haven't done so previously.
3. Tap “Bank Transfer.”
4. Select or add the account you want to transfer the money to.
If you have third-party accounts saved in your name, they will be displayed in a list, so you don't have to add them again. However, if you don't have any accounts saved, you'll need to enter them manually. To do this, follow the process below:
▪ Choose your bank's destination country.
▪ Add your bank account information.
▪ Fill in the required fields to save your bank account. The fields depend on the destination country due to banking regulations and requirements.
▪ Save it for future payments so you don't have to re-enter the information for future transfers.
▪ Tap "Continue" to continue the sending process.
5. Add the amount you want to send.
▪ Select the currency you want to send from the available currencies.
▪ Enter the amount you want to send to your contact.
▪ Tap "Continue" to advance the process.
Note: Midi has a monthly sending limit for all users, which resets on the first day of each month. If you exceed the limit, you'll be notified with a message and will need to adjust the sending amount.
6. Select the payment method
Note: Currently, Midi only allows money transfers using available funds in your bank account. More payment methods will be added to the list of available payment methods later.
7. Please check and confirm your payment summary to ensure there are no errors in the submission.
8. Enter your 6-digit pass code.
Note: If you don't remember your pass code, you can tap the "Forgot your pass code?" button to begin the pass code recovery process. You'll be asked to verify your identity before you can set your new pass code.
9. All done! Your transfer will have been sent. Note that transfers can take several days to reach the destination account. You can track the transfer status in the transfer details. We'll notify you as soon as the transfer is complete.
