- Make sure the image is clear and free of shadows.
- Make sure your face is centered in the frame during the face scan; be sure to capture your full face.
- Make sure you look directly into the camera, head-on, with a neutral expression and your eyes open.
- The background should be uniform, plain, and in light, neutral colors, free of shadows.
- Do not wear accessories such as glasses, hats, or caps that make your identification difficult.
- Smile to capture the photo; this way, we can verify that it's a real person.
